Belgium Waffles


Ingredients:
Directions:
1. Preheat iron.
2. In a medium bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt.
3. In second bowl combine and beat egg yolk (don't throw away white) & sugar until sugar is dissolved and eggs are a pale yellow.
4. Add vanilla, melted butter and milk to eggs and mix. Then combine with flour mixture. Don't over mix!
5. in a 3rd bowl beat egg whites until they form soft peaks. Then gently fold into waffle batter.
6. Coat waffle iron with cooking spray and pour batter into iron. Cook until golden brown.
7. Top with syrup, berries or any other toppings you would like. I used homemade raspberry jam and topped with whipped cream.
