Easter Cake
Bird Nest Cake
Ingredients:
1 box of Devil's Food cake (make as directed)
1 box of peeps
1 bag of rod pretzels
Jellybeans
Chocolate frosting (homemade or store bought)
Directions:
Bake cake and let stand and cool for 45 minutes. Cut out center and set aside. Frost entire cake and crumble extra cake from middle and add back into middle. Insert pretzel rods at an angle around sides. When I got to the top I just layered them so it resembled a birds nest. Top center with jellybeans and peeps.
Gotta give my mom the credit for this since it was her idea! It was really fun to put together!
